New Orleans

I thougth this picture best represented New Orleans. One one side is the Catholic church, and just outside are fourtune tellers giving the people a more comfortable alternative.
A front view of the San Francisco Cathedral. Infront is a stature of Andrew Jackson, hero of the battle of New Orleans, the only battle we won in the War of 1812. It was also fought 3 days after the war ended. New Orleans is full of such interesting contrasts.
Sorry, the picture disappeared.  Burbon Street, the most famous street in the city. In a place like this anything can happen and too much often does. It's this quality that makes it one of the funnest cities I know. It's one of the few places where you can walk down the street and have a concert break out around you.
