Happy Marian - Year 2

After discovering a week and a half before the end of the semester that there would be no summer classes, I started looking for a temporary job, not an easy find where I live.  I took a job at a lousy school and got fired.  Then I took a couple of weeks off and worked for three weeks at another Happy Marian teaching kindergarteners.  After another weeks holiday I was back to my old job.

This is how the little kids play, everyone running everywhere.
These are a couple of kids from my class.  The little girl got attached to me because I took time to play just with her.  She stuck to me the whole time I was there and when I went back for a visit she ran up and gave me a big hug.
Someone was paying attention.  This was during a science class.  I try to keep things moving quickly so they won't get board.
While the students work I walk around checking their work.  If they make mistakes I work it out with them.  This students is one of my cutest.
I like to get the kids out of the class when I can.  Here I'm showing them how the magnets in the refridgerater work.
Another game, I have the students put up new vocabulary words all over the room, then I call one out and they run around looking for it.
Here I have the kids write something, usually from Spelling or Phonics, then run hand the pen to the next kid.  The team with the most points gets a sticker.
  Same game.
Project time again.  Here the students make an aquarium using blue paint, construction paper, and cellophane.  Guess who put the cellophane on.
  The finished product.
The boys always leave me a bigger mess to clean up.
Our class at the Botanical Gardens.  It's near the school and I take them when I can find an excuse.
  Practice for the Christmas play.
More practice.  The girl was the Monkey King and the boy was Jubajie.  This was my take off on an old Chinese legend.
Back stage before the Christmas play.  The kids were so nervous, and we had to wait so long they were half asleep before we went on.
Two elves on stage.  I was on stage when the curtain went up.  It went up with my back turned, I turned around and everyone was looking at me.
The Monky King is about to take off while two dragons wait to pull Santa's sleigh.
Every play has to have a couple of songs.
Our end of the year pizza and ice cream party.
