Happy Marian - Year 4 P3 class

In my P3 class I had only a few students, but they were at a much lower level of English ability.  I had them for 2 hours a day, 4 days a week with only 2 classes a day.  It was difficult at first, some of the kids weren't very responsive and we had to use a kindergarten class with tiny chairs.  The second semester went much better, we got a bigger class room and the kids started making progress.  I put a lot of work into those guys and they made a lot of progress.  I was really sad to see them go, but I didn't want to work so late in the evening again.  I was glad they got a good teacher for the next year.

The three boys in the class were always goofing around.  The tall one was the leader and kept everyone laughing.
The smartest one in the class.  She always learned everything quickly and had a sweet smile.
  Working in the writing books.
These two have stuck together since kindergarten.  They both have sisters the same age who look just like them.
I probably had to bribe or threaten them to have them all looking like they were working long enough to take a picture.
Our school has classes in three buildings.  I had to walk them back to class and keep them from running into traffic.
Playing a game in wonder island.  They get to roll the ball when they answer a question.  They get points for how many pins they knock down.
I also gave P3 a chance to get ice-cream if their grades went up.  As the year went on they started doing better and better and nearly ran me broke.
